Calagaria sighed as she looked at her newly-finished room. It was painted cream on all of the walls, except for the one where her door and closet were located, and that wall was painted lavender. One of the walls was actually a cream curtain, and on the other side of the cream curtain, was a different color that another girl had chosen. On her wall to the right was a bulletin board hanging from fishing wire from the ceiling, with pictures of her and her friends on the top, but the bottom was empty for her school year here. Right below that was her dark bed frame, and she had yet to put on her Tempur-Pedic® mattress, lavender Supima cotton sheets, and cream-colored feather duvet. On top would be her various lavender/cream pillows. So far all of her bed coverings were in a box blocking the door.
To her left, Calagaria's wall was blank, with a shelf on it that held her iHome, radio, and accessory box. Right below that was her dark-chestnut vanity, complete with her five cardboard boxes stacked on ready to be un-packed of it's contents; her MAC makeup, Glamorous Gloss set, hair-styling products, and anything else that a vanity might possess. A mere few feet away was a long, but not very wide desk that held her candles, which she used when she slept often. This produced no safety issues, since the candles were pretty much fake. When you lit the wick, it didn't burn at all. It just let off an incense, which made the room smell like the accent color, lavender. The assortment of candles included mint, lavender, pink rose, honey, and a few others that Cali loved.
By the bed, there was a dark-chestnut side-table that held her alarm clock and lamp. In the middle of the room lie a lavender sheepskin rug over a cream, and very comfy, carpet. Lastly, Calagaria's desk had yet to be put together, and it stood right by her bed, where it would be located after she figured out how to follow the instructions.
Calagaria turned around and faced her closet, opening it slowly. She had to push a few boxes away, but she told her parents not to pack much because she'd be shopping like crazy today. Cali hadn't seen her closet yet, and she was pretty excited. When Cali entered it, she gasped. She thought it was a closet, but no, it was also a bathroom. To her immediate left was a wall, most likely because if it was any further left, the door to the hall from her room would bang into it. In front of her was a sink that dipped down, and multiples of boxes (probably sent by her father) were stacked around the huge space beside the sink. To the right of that was the toilet, and then a large space separated the toilet from another wall, with another door. Inside that door was a huge shower, and two glass french doors that led into an enormous closet, already filled with tons of clothes. God, her daddy did everything for her! That was never any fun.
Cali left her room smiling like crazy. She had the most enormous room ever, she had met two of her three roommates, and she had the biggest dorm on campus. Cali headed into the kitchen, which was decked out with stainless-steel, and it was HUGE. A bit smaller than a regular kitchen, but much larger than a dorm kitchen. This dorm would no longer be called a dorm, but would be called the EH, or elite house.
Calagaria opened up the fridge and coolness washed over her. All that was in there was a six-pack of the old-fashioned cokes. Cali checked the expire tag before placing them back in the fridge. They were bought yesterday, and that was confirmed by the receipt on the island. The island had four chairs surrounding it. It was shaped like a rectangle, there was a chair on each of the small sides, and two chairs on the longer side. Behind that was a wood railing, that looked down about three feet to the living room. That was all the lower the EH went.
Calagaria almost jumped when she heard the front door open, and watched the French doors in anticipation of who might enter.

Brooklyn plopped down on her huge king sized bed. It was so comfortable, and the pillows felt like heaven. She could definitely get used to this idea. And it was pretty creative to have one huge room, and have four big connected rooms that were inside this huge room. She ran to the window and observed the ocean view windows. There were a series of people on the beach having a great time. She'd have to go down there when she got the chance.
Brooklyn was so happy that she had a huuuuuge walk-in closet. It could even be another room if she was really desperate. All of her clothes were arranged in order and her shoes were color coded. Everything was so sweet and organized. The walls of Brooklyn's room were a pretty light pink shade. She curtains by the window were also very striking.
Looking at the flatscreen tv, Brooklyn grabbed the remote and flipped to MTV, where Run's House was on. Gosh did she love that show. She wandered into the kitchen and got herself a fruit snack. Then she remembered about her other room mates. She should probably go and say "hi" to them and try to get to know them.
As she kept on snacking on her fruit snack, she walked over to her other roommate's room and kind of knocked on the wall. Then, she moved the curtain that seperated her room and everybody else's room. "Hey, can I come in? Caligaria, right?"

Cali grabbed a coke and decided that it didn't matter who bought it. there were already two missing, they wouldn't know if one more was. She opened it, threw the cap away, and made her way back to her 'room'. It was more like a partition, but whatever.
When she entered, she could hear the faint sound of a TV. Cali was thankful she had one of the end rooms, because then she had three solid walls, and one curtain, while the others had two solid walls and two curtains. Cali's flat-screen hadn't yet been hung up opposite of her bed, but she would do that later.
Calagaria entered her closet, and started taking everything off the hangers and shelves, and throwing them on the floor. She had to organize her things the way she wanted to. After organizing her dresses in the back, she heard a faint knock. Cali sighed as she went to the curtain partition, and saw... Brooklyn. She thought that was it.
"Yeah, sure. And yes, it's Calagaria." Cali said, and then smiled. She went over to a fluffy chair that was in the corner and sat down. "So what's up?"

"Okay, good, just making sure," Brooklyn said while sitting down. Her side ponytail swayed as she sat down. "Nothing much," she answered. The room was just as big as hers was, so there was no bigger room. She continued to eat her Pokemon Fruit snacks. She laughed as she ate the pikachu in a snap, and turned to Calagaria's tv. She straightened the purple two in one dress tat she was wearing and took a peek outside the window. Yes...the beach. She took a mental note so she wouldn't forget about it. She wanted to go and check it out later. "Isn't our other roommate named...Erica? That's right."

"Yeah. We have another, but I haven't met her yet. So I don't know her name." Calagaria said, standing up. She finished her coke and set it on a coaster on her desk. She would recycle it later. Cali was a huge environmentalist, or whatever you would call them.
"We should get to know each other. We could go shopping or something later, don't you think? Right now, I think we should decorate the rest of the rooms." Cali said. She couldn't wait to know what the rest of the dorm would look like.

"Yeah, I haven't met her either," Brooklyn agreed. She crossed her right leg over her right leg and adjusted her knee high socks. "I'm really bored," she added. She didn't know what else to do. People were still settling into this school. This very nice school.
When Calagaria talked about going shopping, Brooklyn brightened up. "That's a really good idea. We should do that. Because I'm bored and it would be very fun to go around decorating the rooms," she said. That would probably the best part of this whole dorm experience, besides the roommate part.

"Cool! I've got a lot of stuff, and there's an awesome dorm shoppe at the mall, too." Cali said. She entered the hallway, which had various boxes with decorating stuff in them. "I have a bunch of colors. And curtains and stuff for the sides." Calagaria said, pulling out different colors of wall paint, sheer curtains, and a bunch of fabric they could use. Calagaria gazed to the totally empty living room. It had all-white walls, not furniture, and beautiful hardwood floor.
An idea popped into Cali's head. She didn't want the new couches and stuff to ruin the beautiful floor, so they could have a piece of carpet, almost like a rug, with wood siding in the middle that they could set the seating furniture on. It'd be so chic, just this small piece of carpet, surrounded by hardwood floor. Then for the other furniture, they could set those down on various rugs.

the outfit !!
Brooklyn felt the soft materials in the boxes. "Oooh, these will definitely come in hand," she said. Good thing she brought a lot of materials, Brooklyn brought only a box of cool materials. She used the other box to bring her Nintendo Wii and her Xbox360. Hey, she got bored, and she loved Kingdom Hearts. "This is going to be a blast," she smiled.

"I know. What should we do first?" Calagaria asked. She took out some sheer curtains and held them out. There were various colors. Some included light pink, a very light turquoise, gray, white, and lavender. She hoped to use the lavender ones in her room, so she pushed them aside a bit. Then, Calagaria reached into the box and pulled out a furniture magazine. She opened it to a random page. "I was thinking we could do this chic type room, with all blacks, whites and grays, and then have like one or two accent colors." Calagaria stated, looking at the modern-chic couches in the magazine.
Calagaria pointed to the couch and a simple pod chair that was pictured beside it. She hoped these items would appeal to Brooklyn. After that, she pulled out a white sheepskin rug and showed it to Brooklyn. "These are just a few of my choices, what would you want to see in the living room?" She asked.

E R I C A. Erica walked down Welsh hall trying to find her dorm. Her father had already sent all of her furniture and most of her clothes down to the dorm. She also had guys come down and unpack most of it so E wouldn't have to worry about it. That was about the only thing he had done for her since he left a few months back. Erica had two Coach suitcases with her that had some more things in them. Such as makeup, magazines, ipod, and other things like that.
Erm finally came across dorm 102. She looked at the door that had a light pink dry erase board that was clean. She couldn't wait for boarding school life to actually start. E had only been at Villanova for thirty minutes and she loved it. Then again it was better than her home life. Erica opened the door and was in awe. This place was nice. Really really nice. Erica admired it and looked around in the living room area. She glanced at the huge tv in front of them. Wow. This would be amazing. E walked into the kitchen and felt the countertop. It was pure granite which was sweet. She walked into a bed room and admired everything. This was sooooo sweet. E hear noices and went into the living room area. She saw two girls talking. She instantly smiled. "Hey!"Erica said to them. "This place is amazing."Erm added on.

"Hey," Brooklyn said to Erica. She wanted to make sure that she was calling her the right name, so she said, "Erica, right?" She hoped that she wasn't totally off or anything. She turned to Cali and said, "Oooh, I like this. It is really soft. That would be really good, and I don't know about the rest. I guess we could try, but let's just hope that it would turn out as good as it is in the magazine."Well...sometimes magazines culd be misleading. And hopefully this one wasn't.

lyric carolina LC loved the fact that she was going to be by herself for the first time in her life. before villanova, and the other two boarding schools she had been to before, she was just stuck at home staring at her mom. And hannah montana of course because apparently nothing is on TV during the summer. LC was just ready to get away from her mom and parents. She hated them, although they were the ones who payed for this school, so she had to like them in one way or another. As LC took another step closer to the door that unlocked her future, or at least the next year. If she had sucky roommates who hated her, the year was not going to be a good one. Oh, and if the roommates snored, it was not going to be a good year for any of the girls. LC never recieved a sheet on who was going to be her roommates. All she got was a hall and a room number. The school apparently didn't like new juniors.
Did any school like new students? Did students like a new school? Of course, both of them were true. LC slowly took a step towards her door. Did she hear people talking? Oh man, that means at least two roommates at least. From what she heard from walking over here was that she was in something called "the elite room" and that she had her own room. Good thing, she needed it. With all the stuff that she had brought, she glanced back at the two things of luggage that she had. Most of it was already in the room, or so she hoped. Her dad or somebody had came in and painted a color that LC wasn't sure of. She took another step, and another deep breath. She was at least six paces away from the door. Why was she going so slow, nerves maybe? One more step. . .
You need to get over this, just take another step, it's not hard, just go. she told herself in her mind. Was that weird? That she had conversations with her mind. It was like those things on TV where you had the devil on one shoulder and a angel on the other. Both discussing the pros and cons of a subject. And this time, it was her deciding to walk. Weird. She had had pretty weird conversations with her mind, but this had to top the list. From deciding to get drunk, or even which pillowcase to buy, this owned all the other topics that had ever had in her mind.
Finally, LC made her way to the door and let go of her luggage. It stood beside her as LC scrambled through her purse to find the key the administrative office gave her earlier. "Where did i fucking put the key?" She whisphered to herself. LC thought that she had put it in the front pocket of her Louis, and it wasn't there, something had to be wrong. But then LC remembered that she put the key in her pocket, so that she wouldn't forget. She slowly put the key in the lock and opened the door. She stuck in her head a tiny bit and then the rest of her body filled in after words. She saw her roommates and gave them a little smile. LC was excited because her roommates did look nice, but she didn't want to freak them out. "Hi, I'm Lyric. My middle name is Carolina, but you can call me LC. Or like, Lyr or Lyric or Carolina or Caro or whatever. I don't really care." She rambled on. She was nervous. LC placed her luggage in front of her, and looked around the dorm.
LC glanced into one of the rooms to see if it was her's, it was a bright lime green, her favorite color. A queen sized bed, and a white comftortor with pink and lime green polka dots. The bed was neatly made and a big piece of artwork hung above the bed. It wasn't really of anything. It was just a bunch of colors splattered onto a canvas. LC could've done it herself, but it was still pretty. Pink cabnit like things hung right next to the door. Where there were collections of CDs and DVDs from all different kinds of genres. A flat screen TV hung above the dresser, which was across the bed. Her dad knew her so well. She had the perfect room, which was great. So that if the roommate thing didn't turn out well, she always had the room of her dreams.
"I love the dorm. Do you know if there are anymore people coming?" She asked as LC dragged her two suitcases into her room. She opened one of the drawers in her dresser, and saw that it was fully clothed. That was important

"Nope, this is it." Calagaria said, motioning to the two other girls. "I'm Calagaria. Me and Brooklyn," Cali said, motioning to Brooklyn "were deciding on how to decorate the living room. Do you have any ideas?" She asked all of the girls.
Calagaria stood up and quickly grabbed a pudding from the cupboard and a spoon from the counter and started eating. She quickly remembered that she didn't want to spill it, so she threw the half-full cup of pudding in the trash. Calagaria returned to the little circle on the floor of the hallway.

E R I C A. E smiled. She walked into a light tealish colored room. This was hers. She had asked the painters to paint it this way. They even got her the right comforter and accesories from PB Teen like Erm had asked. Erica smiled. "Yup. I'm Erica."Erica said. "Brooklyn and Calagaria..Right?"E said to them to make sure. Erica smileda t looked around. She then heard a door slam. Maybe it was their fourth room mate. "Oh hey!"Erica said to the girl. Erica deffinatley thought she was gorgeous. Then again, these three girls were all gorgeous. "I'm Erica. Or E. Or Erm. Which are my initials.."Erica said to LC. That was cool. LC was like Lauren Conrad. Lauren was one of E's idols. Erica didn't really care how they decorated. "Oh, i think we should make it elegent, but fun."E said to them. Villanova was great so far!
